Are you independent financial advisers?
Yes — fully independent. We advise across the whole market and are not tied to any provider or product range. Ideal Financial Management Ltd is regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, registration number 209535.
How much does financial advice cost?
Your first conversation is at our expense and carries no obligation. Before any chargeable work begins we agree the cost with you in writing — you will always know what you are paying and what you get for it. See our fees page for how our charges work.
Who do you typically work with?
Successful people who want their money professionally managed but do not have the time or inclination to do it themselves — typically clients planning for retirement, managing pensions and investments, buying or remortgaging property, or dealing with the financial side of divorce.
Where are you based and how far do you cover?
Our office is at 142 Thorne Road, Edenthorpe, Doncaster DN3 2LU. We work with clients across South Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, and remotely where that suits you better.
What happens at the first meeting?
We listen. The first meeting is about understanding where you are, what “ideal” looks like for you, and whether we are the right fit — not about products. There is no charge and no obligation to proceed.
How often will you review my plan?
Ongoing clients receive regular structured reviews — checking progress against your goals, adjusting for life changes, and keeping investments aligned with your risk comfort. Our internal investment committee monitors the funds our clients hold throughout the year.
Does this website track me or use cookies?
No. This site sets no cookies, runs no advertising or analytics trackers, and needs no cookie banner. Our free planning tools run entirely on your own device — the figures you enter never reach us or anyone else. Privacy here is a property of how the site is built, not a policy promise.
Is my money protected?
Client investments are held with regulated platforms and providers, never by us directly, and FCA regulation means you have access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and the Financial Services Compensation Scheme where applicable. The value of investments can fall as well as rise and you may get back less than you invest.
